Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 24 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 10 April.
With a 91-day tenor until 12 July this year, the first issue was valued at EGP 14 billion, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second tranche was settled at EGP 10 billion, holding a maturity period of 273 days until 10 January 2023.
On 7 April, the CBE issued T-bills at a combined value of EGP 19 billion through two tranches.
