Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) valued at EGP 23 billion on Sunday, 4 September 2022.
The first offering amounted to EGP 15 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 6 December 2022, according to official data.
The second issue is valued at EGP 8 billion and will mature in 273 days on 6 June 2023.
On 1 September, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 30 billion through two issues.
