Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 23 billion through two issues on Sunday, 24 July.
The first offering stood at EGP 15 billion, carrying a maturity period of 91 days until 25 October 2022, according to official data.
With a 273-day tenor until 25 April 2023, the second tranche was valued at EGP 8 billion.
On 21 July, the CBE offered T-bills at a total value of EGP 30 billion through two issues.
