CBE offers EGP 22bn T-bills on Sunday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 22 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 19 June.

The first issue was valued at EGP 13 billion, carrying a 91-day maturity period until 20 September this year, according to official data.

With a 273-day tenor until 21 March 2023, the second offering stood at EGP 9 billion.

On 16 June, the CBE auctioned T-bills worth EGP 19.50 billion through two issues.
