Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 22 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 5 June.
With a tenor of 91 days until 6 September this year, the first tranche was valued at EGP 13 billion, according to official data.
The second issue stood at EGP 9 billion, carrying a 273-day maturity period until 7 March 2023.
On 2 June, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 19.50 billion through two issues.
