Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 22 billion through two issues on Sunday, 29 May.
The first offering stood at EGP 13 billion, carrying a 91-day maturity period until 30 August this year, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 28 February 2023, the second tranche was valued at EGP 9 billion.
On 26 May, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 20.50 billion through two tranches.
