Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned, on 17 February, treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 20 billion over two issues, according to official data.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 13 billion, holding a 182-day maturity period until 23 August 2022.
The second offering stood at EGP 7 billion and will mature in 364 days on 21 February 2023.
It is worth noting that on 13 February, the CBE offered EGP 11 billion T-bills through two tranches.
