Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 20.50 billion through two issues on Thursday, 14 April.
The first tranche stood at EGP 12.50 billion, carrying a maturity period of 182 days until 18 October this year, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering was valued at EGP 8 billion, holding a 364-day tenor until 18 April 2023.
On 10 April, the CBE issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 24 billion through two tranches.
