Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 19 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 24 March.
The first issue stood at EGP 12.50 billion, holding a 182-day tenor until 27 September 2022, according to official data.
Moreover, the second tranche was valued at EGP 6.50 billion and will mature in 364 days on 28 March this year.
On March 20, the CBE auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 12.50 billion through two issues.
