CBE offers EGP 19bn T-bills on Thursday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 19 billion over two tranches on Thursday, 10 February.

The first issue amounted to EGP 12.5 billion in value, holding a maturity period of 182 days until 16 August this year, according to official data.

The second offering stood at EGP 6.5 billion and will be matured in 364 days on 14 February 2023.

Earlier this week, the CBE issued T-bills worth a total of EGP 12.5 billion over two auctions.
