Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has launched a new initiative to provide EGP 15 billion to car owners who are willing to equip their vehicles with dual-fuel engines.
The funding will be available through banks at a fixed interest rate of 3% for owners of passenger cars, taxis, and microbuses, the CBE said in a statement on Tuesday.
The terms of the loan will range from seven to 10 years with equal monthly installments.
