Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 4.25 billion through two tranches on Monday, 11 September 2023.
The first issue was valued at EGP 4 billion, carrying a tenor of three years until 11 July 2026, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second tranche stood at EGP 250 million and will mature in five years on 13 October 2027.
Last week, the central bank offered debt instruments at a total value of EGP 1 billion through two auctions.
