Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 34 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 26 February.
With a tenor of 91 days until 30 May 2023, the first issue was valued at EGP 13 billion, according to official data.
The second offering stood at EGP 21 billion, carrying a 273-day maturity period until 28 November this year.
On 23 February, the CBE issued T-bills at a total value of EGP 43.50 billion through two tranches.
