Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 28.50 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 11 December, according to official data.
The first issue was valued at EGP 8 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 14 March 2023.
Moreover, the second auction stood at EGP 20.50 billion and will mature in 273 days on 12 September next year.
On 8 December, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 26.50 billion through two issues.
