Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 1 billion through one issue on Monday, 11 April.
The tranche carries a maturity period of three years until 12 April 2025, according to official data.
Moreover, the CBE offered zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 5 billion through one offering, which will mature in 1.5 years on 3 October 2023.
Last week, the CBE auctioned T-bonds at a value of EGP 750 million through one offering and zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 4.50 billion through one tranche.
