Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 1.50 billion through two tranches on Monday, 13 June.
The first offering stood at EGP 1 billion, holding a tenor of five years until 5 April 2027, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second tranche was valued at EGP 500 million, carrying a 10-year maturity period until 17 May 2032.
The CBE also issued zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 5 billion through one offering, which will mature in 1.5 years on 5 December 2023.
Last week, the central bank auctioned T-bonds at a total value of EGP 1.50 billion through two offerings and zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 4.50 billion through one issue.
