Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 3 billion through one auction.
Announced on Monday, 4 March 2024, the tranche will mature in three years on 5 March 2027, according to official data.
Furthermore, the CBE auctioned floating-rate T-bonds worth EGP 2 billion through one issue that holds a five-year tenor until 20 February 2029.
Last week, the financial authority offered T-bonds at a total value of EGP 2.25 billion through two tranches.
