Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 62 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 4 February 2024.
The first offering was valued at EGP 35 billion, carrying a 91-day maturity period until 7 May this year, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second auction stood at EGP 27 billion and will mature in 273 days on 5 November 2024.
On 1 February, the central bank issued T-bills at a combined value of EGP 70 billion through two auctions.
