Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 46.50 billion through two auctions on Thursday, 19 October 2023.
The first tranche stood at EGP 20 billion and will mature in 182 days on 23 April 2024, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering was valued at EGP 26.50 billion, with a 364-day tenor until 22 October next year.
On 15 October, the central bank auctioned T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 47.50 billion through two issues.
