Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) standing at a value of EGP 40 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 3 September 2023.
Carrying a 91-day maturity period until 5 December 2023, the first issue was valued at EGP 23 billion, according to official data.
The second tranche stood at EGP 17 billion, with a tenor of 273 days until 4 June 2024.
Last Thursday, the financial authority auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 42.50 billion through two issues.
