Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 4.5 billion over three issues on Monday, 14 February, according to official data.
Holding a three-year maturity period until 4 January 2025, the first tranche has been offered at a total value of EGP 3 billion.
The second issue stood at EGP 500 million and will mature in 15 years on 18 January 2037.
The third offering was valued at EGP 1 billion and holds a maturity period of seven years until 4 January 2029.
On 7 February, the CBE auctioned EGP 15.25 billion T-bonds through four issues.
