Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 30 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 21 July.
The first issue was valued at EGP 14.50 billion, holding a tenor of 182 days until 24 January 2023, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second tranche stood at EGP 15.50 billion, carrying a 364-day maturity period until 25 July next year.
On 18 July, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 21.50 billion through two issues.
