Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 26 billion through two issues on Thursday, 15 December.
The first tranche stood at EGP 4.50 billion and will mature in 182 days on 20 June 2023, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering was valued at EGP 21.50 billion, holding a 364-day tenor until 19 December next year.
Last week, the CBE issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 26.50 billion through two auctions.
