Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 26.50 billion through two offerings on Thursday, 22 December, according to official data.
The first auction stood at EGP 5 billion, holding a tenor of 182 days until 27 June 2023.
Meanwhile, the second tranche was valued at EGP 21.50 billion and will mature in 364 days on 26 December next year.
On 18 December, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 27.50 billion through two issues.
