Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 26.50 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 13 October.
The first auction was valued at EGP 5 billion, holding a tenor of 182 days until 18 April 2023, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering stood at EGP 21.50 billion and will mature in 364 days on 17 October next year.
On 10 October, the CBE auctioned T-bills at a total value of EGP 27.50 billion through two issues.
