Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 22 billion through two issues on Sunday, 17 April.
The first offering stood at EGP 13 billion, carrying a maturity period of 91 days until 19 July this year, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second issue was valued at EGP 9 billion, holding a 273-day tenor until 17 January 2023.
On 14 April, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 20.50 billion through two tranches.
