Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 21.50 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 28 August.
With a 91-day tenor until 29 November 2022, the first tranche stood at EGP 14 billion, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering was valued at EGP 7.50 billion, carrying a 273-day maturity period until 30 May 2023.
On 25 August, the CBE auctioned T-bills worth EGP 31.50 billion through two issues.
