Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 20 billion through two offerings on Thursday, 9 June.
The first tranche stood at EGP 12 billion, holding a tenor of 182 days until 13 December this year, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second issue was valued at EGP 8 billion, carrying a 364-day maturity period until 13 June 2023.
On 5 June, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 22 billion through two issues.
