Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 19 billion through two issues on Thursday, 7 April.
The first offering stood at EGP 12 billion, holding a 182-day tenor until 11 October 2022, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second tranche was valued at EGP 7 billion, carrying a maturity period of 364 days until 11 April 2023.
On 3 April, the CBE offered T-bills at a total value of EGP 22 billion through two tranches.
