Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered, on 24 February, treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 19 billion through two issues, according to official data.
The first tranche stood at EGP 12.5 billion, holding a maturity period of 182 days until 30 August 2022.
The second offering was valued at EGP 6.5 billion and will mature in 364 days on 28 February 2023.
It is worth noting that on 20 February, the CBE auctioned T-bills at a total value of EGP 12.5 billion over two tranches.
