Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 19.50 billion through two offerings on Thursday, 16 June.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 12.50 billion, carrying a 182-day maturity period until 20 December this year, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second issue stood at EGP 7 billion, holding a tenor of 364 days until 20 June 2023.
On 12 June, the CBE auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 24 billion through two issues.
