Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering treasury bonds (T-bonds) at an aggregated value of EGP 4.50 billion through three issues, on Monday, 14 March.
The first offering stands at EGP 3 billion and holds a tenor of three years until 4 January 2025, according to official data.
The second tranche is valued at EGP 500 million and will mature in 15 years on 18 January 2037.
The third issue totals EGP 1 billion and carries a seven-year maturity period until 4 January 2029.
The CBE has also auctioned zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 11.50 billion through one issue on Monday.
The offering holds a 1.5-year maturity period until 12 September 2023.
On 7 March, the CBE offered T-bonds of EGP 2.75 billion over three tranches and zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 12.50 billion through one auction.
