CBE auctions EGP 15.25bn T-bonds on Monday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will offer treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 15.25 billion through four issues on Monday, according to official data.

With a two-year maturity period, until 11 January 2024, the first tranche will be offered at a total value of EGP 750 million.

The second issue stands at EGP 1.5 billion and will mature in five years on 11 January 2027.

Meanwhile, the third offering is valued at EGP 500 million and holds a maturity period of ten years until 11 January 2032.

The fourth tranche amounts to EGP 12.5 billion and will carry 1.5-years tenor until 1 August 2023.
