Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 11 billion through two issues on Sunday, 27 March.
The first tranche totalled EGP 2.50 billion, carrying a maturity period of 91 days until 28 June this year, according to official data.
The second offering was at a combined value of EGP 8.50 billion, holding a tenor of 273 days until 27 December 2022.
On March 24, the CBE issued T-bills at a total value of EGP 19 billion through two tranches.
