Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 47.50 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 24 December 2023.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 22.50 billion, carrying a maturity period of 91 days until 26 March 2024, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 24 September next year, the second offering stood at EGP 25 billion.
On 21 December, the CBE auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 46.50 billion through two issues.
