Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced the banks will be closed on Thursday, 1 July, to commemorate the 30 June Revolution.
Banks will be reopened on Sunday, 4 July, the CBE said in a statement on Monday.
Earlier, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly announced that next Thursday will be a public holiday for all ministries, government entities, and public and private sector companies on the anniversary of the 30 June Revolution.
