Riyadh – Mubasher: The United International Transportation Company (Budget Saudi) posted net profits worth SAR 34.45 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, signaling a decrease of 58.37% from SAR 82.76 million in Q1-25.
Budget Saudi generated 1.64% higher revenue at SAR 552.35 million in January-March 2026 when compared with SAR 543.41 million in the corresponding quarter of 2025.
The earnings per share (EPS) shrank to SAR 0.33 in Q1-26 from SAR 0.79 in Q1-25, according to the income statements.
Meanwhile, the company attributed the annual revenue growth in Q1-26 to “a limited improvement in the performance of the long-term rental, logistics services, and vehicle sales segments. However, this increase does not constitute substantial growth, as revenues continued to face pressure due to geopolitical tensions in the region.”
On a quarterly basis, the company’s net profits in Q1-26 marked a plunge of 64.52% from SAR 97.10 million in Q4-25, while the revenue decreased by 21.18% from SAR 700.85 million.
In 2025, Budget Saudi generated net profits worth SAR 345.76 million and revenue of SAR 2.41 billion.
