Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Bourse Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session with a grouped rise.
The price index levelled up by 0.10% or 5.53 points to reach 5,678.02 points by 9:50am Kuwait time.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.28% and 0.44% respectively.
Liquidity amounted to KWD 3.76 million, after 35.91 million shares were traded through 865 transactions.
The telecom sector topped five gainers with 0.7% on the back of Hits Telecom which rose by 1.2%; the real estate segment gained 0.62% in line with the 3.45% rise of First Dubai.
The banks sector grew by 0.46%, endorsed by NBK which gained 1.56%.
Munshaat was the most active stock on which 5.92 million shares were traded.
Zain recorded the highest trading value that stood at nearly KWD 938,840.
