Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session with grouped rise by 9:15am Kuwait time.
The price index gained 0.93% or 56.62 points to reach 6,164.58 points; both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose by 0.3% and 0.2% respectively.
Trading value amounted to KWD 8.8 million, after 110 million shares were exchanged through 1,655 transactions.
The real estate segment topped 10 gainers with 1.5%, on the back of Kuwait Resorts and Mena which levelled up by 7.7% each.
The banks sector inched up by 0.5% in line with the rise of KFH and Boubyan which gained 1.72% and 1.23% respectively.
Zima was the top winner by 10%, while Muntazahat led the losers with 2.4%.
The Securities House was the most active stock on which 9.8 million shares were traded. The stock gained 3.85%.
KFH recorded the highest turnover that stood at nearly KWD 991,300.
