Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait saw a positive performance in the week ended 12 January 2017. The price index rose 3.42% or 199.22 points to 6,030.41 points.
The weighted index gained 1.87% or 7.20 points, while the Kuwait-15 index added 1.16% or 10.44 points.
Trading volume reached 2.755 billion shares this week, compared to 885.56 million shares last week. Liquidity stood at KWD 197.28 million, compared to KWD 885.56 million.
Market capitalization reached KWD 27.08 billion ($88.37 billion) by the end of this week, compared to KWD 26.59 billion ($86.66 billion) last week.
