Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait closed the week ended 17 May 2018 in the red, pressured by the massive drop of its indices.
The All-Share index fell 27.5 points, or 0.57%, to finish the week at 4,828.63 points.
The Premier Market index went down 31.5 points, or 0.66%, to 4,765.78 points this week, compared to 4,797.28 points.
Meanwhile, the Main markets index retreated 20 points, or 0.41%, to 4,864.02 points, versus 4,884.25 points in the prior week.
Boursa Kuwait’s weekly trading volume slid 33.2% to 204.61 million shares against 306.32 million in the previous week, while liquidity plunged 21% to KWD 36.9 million, versus KWD 46.71 million in the week before.
The number of transactions levelled down by 26.1% to about 11,004 this week from nearly 14,093 in the past week.
