Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait saw mixed performance during the week ended 22 December.
The price index levelled up by 0.14% or 7.73 points to close at 5,676.22 points this week, compared with 5,668.49 points a week ago.
Meanwhile, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.48% or 1.8 points and 0.81% or 7 points respectively.
Liquidity shrank by 30.2% to reach KWD 62.08 million this week from KWD 88.94 million in the past week.
Trading volume decreased by 30.8% to 741.73 million shares from 1.07 billion in the previous week.
Transactions totalled about 17,030 this week as compared to nearly 20,020 in the past week; a decline of 15%.
Market cap lost 0.47% or KWD 124 million ($404.19 million) to stand at KWD 26.02 billion ($84.81 billion) by the end of this week from KWD 26.144 billion ($85.22 billion) in the past week.
