Kuwait – Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait ended Wednesday’s trading session with mixed performance for its indices.
The price index gained 0.14% or 8.32 points to close at 5,753.36 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 0.38% and 0.82% respectively.
The industrial segment topped six gainers with 0.84% in line with the 7.27% growth of Shuaiba Industrial Co.
The telecom sector increased by 0.39%, backed by Ooredoo which rose by 3.57%.
Meanwhile, the banks segment led six decliners with a fall of 0.65%, dragged by KFH which lost 1.82%.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity grew to KWD 21.73 million from KWD 19.48 million, as trading volume increased by 240 million shares as compared to 206.6 million on Tuesday.
IPG was the most active stock on which 27.76 million shares were exchanged.
AL Imtiaz recorded the highest liquidity that reached KWD 2.72 million.
