Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait opened Wednesday’s trading session in red territory, after the All-Share Market index inched down 0.07%, followed by the Main Market index with 0.05%, and the Premier Market index with 0.09%.
By 9:30 am Kuwait time, the telecommunications sector led losers with 0.27%, while the oil and gas sector topped risers with 1%.
The bourse saw trading of 14.4 million shares exchanged through 463 transactions at a turnover of KWD 1.23 million.
National Cleaning’s stock was the worst performer with 4%, while the stock of Boubyan International Industries Holding was the best performer after adding 7%.
Noor Financial Investment’s stock, which added 2.5%, led the bourse in terms of liquidity with KWD 297,300, while Gulf Petroleum Investment’s (PetroGulf) stock, up 0.7%, posted the highest traded volume with 5.8 million shares.
