Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait decreased 0.12% or 8.5 points to reach 6,900.43 points in Tuesday’s early trades, while the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices declined 0.09% and 0.28%, respectively.
The consumer goods sector dropped 2.15% as Kuwait Food – Americana’s stock retreated 7.3%, and the consumer services sector shed 0.81% after Kuwait National Cinema’s stock slid 11.11%.
The banks sector edged down 0.05% as Ahli United Bank (AUB) and Warba Bank stocks fell 0.46% and 0.38%, respectively.
On the other hand, the financial services sector rose 0.32% after Amwal International Investment’s stock increased 4.8%.
Boursa Kuwait’s trading volume reached 12.5 million shares, through 425 transactions, generating KWD 2 million.
Al Imtiaz Investment Group’s stock, up 1.17%, led in terms of traded volume with 4.65 million exchanged shares, at a value of KWD 802,600.
