Kuwait – Mubasher: The indexes of Boursa Kuwait saw a positive performance in Tuesday’s early trades.
The price index edged up 0.08% or 55.23 points to 6,886.3 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.47% and 0.39%, respectively.
The oil and gas sector topped gainers with a 3.75% rise as National Petroleum Services (Napesco) grew 6.6%.
The industrial sector rose 1.42% as Educational Holding Group (EDU) was the best performer with a 6.5% increase.
The banks sector grew 0.47% as Boubyan Bank added 1.2%.
The market saw trading of 42 million shares through 1,061 transactions, with a turnover of KWD 3.85 million.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) was the value leader after generating KWD 841,430.
