Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait started Thursday’s trading session with a mixed performance; the price index lost 0.10% or 6.33 points to reach 6,790.85 points, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.09% and 0.38%, respectively.
By 9:45am Kuwait time, liquidity stood at KWD 7.3 million, after 77.4 million shares were exchanged through about 1,500 transactions.
The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 0.58%, on the back of Burgan for Well Drilling which rose by 2.20%.
Meanwhile, the telecom sector led decliners with a fall of 1.98%, dragged by Ooredoo which lost 3.28%.
Zain recorded the highest liquidity that totalled KWD 1.7 million.
UPAC was the top loser by 6%, while Amwal led winners by 6.85%.
