Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait retreated by the end of Sunday’s trading session.
The price index went down by 0.49% or 33.56 points to close at 6,790.93 points; both Kuwait 15 and the weighted index lost 0.55% and 0.46%, respectively.
Turnover shrank to KWD 44.85 million after trading volume decreased to 520.09 million shares.
The real estate segment led the decliners with 1.67%, dragged by Hits telecom which fell by 1.69%. The banks sector levelled down by 0.59%, as Warba and NBK lost 1.82% and 1.35%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the oil and gas sector topped four gainers, followed by the consumer goods and industrial sectors.
Abyaar was the most active stock on which 57.11 million shares were traded.
Agility recorded the highest trading value which amounted to KWD 4.76 million.
