Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait has continued its negative downward trend at Monday’s close for the third consecutive session.
The All-Share Market settled lower by 0.9% or 43.41 points to reach 4,768.95 points. The Premier, Main, and BK 50 indices edged down by 1.02%, 0.59%, and 0.74%, respectively.
The liquidity leaped by 66.1% on a daily basis to total KWD 18.7 million from KWD 11.3 million. The trading volume more than doubled to 75.33 million shares from 49.2 million on Sunday.
The industry segment led eight decliners with 2.07%, whereas the oil and gas and the insurance sectors grew by 0.09% and 0.13%, respectively.
Inovest headed the red zone with 12.28%, whereas Future Kid Entertainment and Real Estate came on top of the green zone with 9.95%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH), down 0.52%, achieved the highest liquidity of KWD 3.8 million.
Ahli United Bank – Bahrain (AUB Bahrain) led the trading activity through the exchange of 21.5 million shares, the stock fell 1.7%.
