Kuwait - Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait saw mixed performance this week, as the price index slipped 0.01% or 0.67 points, and closed at the level of 6,885.17 points.
On the other hand, the weight index went up 1.11%, gaining 4.71 points, and closed at 429.54 points, while Kuwait15 increased by 1.32% or 12.8 points to the level of 980.56 points.
Traded values declined by 16.6% to KWD 77.52 million, compared to KWD 92.89 million in the week before.
Meanwhile, traded volumes increased by 8.6% to 461.31 million shares, up from 424.94 million shares in the previous week.
The number of transactions totalled 18,260 by the end of the week, rising by 2.7% from its level at the end of last week.
The market capital amounted to KWD 29.27 billion, compared to KWD 28.95 billion in the week that ended on 17 August, levelling up by 1.1% or nearly KWD 320 million.
